All-new FHRA website
We've got a shiny new web platform fit for a 21st century village! Whoop whoop!!
The FHRA website just got a serious upgrade. We said we were doing this at the AGM and we're on deadline! We hope you enjoy all the new features that you can engage with.
The Flackwell Heath Residents' Association has always been about doing things properly — organising great events, supporting the community, and making sure residents have a voice. The website, if we're honest, hadn't quite kept up. That changes as of now.
Our focus was always on the events, initiatives, experiences and sustainability of the FHRA. Now we're in a really strong place, we can make measure and sensible investments into new kit! The website's time.... has come!
We've rebuilt fhra.co.uk from the ground up on Ghost, a modern publishing platform trusted by thousands of organisations around the world. The result is a site that finally matches the quality of everything the FHRA does on the ground.
Here's what's new:
A clean, mobile-first experience
The new site is built for the way people actually browse — on their phones, between school runs, while waiting for the kettle. Every page loads fast, reads clearly, and looks great on any screen. No more pinching and zooming.
A proper home for every initiative
Heath Fest, the Monthly Market, Litterpicking, FlackWild Heath, the Youth Club, Community Speed Watch, the Grant Scheme — every initiative now has its own dedicated page, with clear information and easy ways to get involved.
Tiered membership with real benefits
Our new membership structure means your support goes further. Village Friend, Early Bird, and The Flackwellian tiers unlock different levels of access, exclusive content, priority event information, and entry into our brand new Community Chest monthly prize draw.
Built-in newsletter and magazine-like content
No more separate mailing lists. Members receive updates directly through the site — tailored to their membership tier, delivered straight to their inbox.
Smarter integrations
The new site connects with our ticketing, events calendar, and social channels — so information stays current without the committee having to update five different places at once. (We're going to put the village's equivalent of Tony Stark on this... Andy...)
A platform worthy of the community
Flackwell Heath is a village with a lot going on. It deserves a website that reflects that. We hope this new site makes it easier to find what you're looking for, get involved in what matters to you, and feel connected to the place we're all lucky to call home.
Welcome to the new fhra.co.uk.
We hope you like it!
